Alan Fishman

Within the pulsating energy of Alan Fishman’s work, there is a poetry of color and lines, in the manner the highly tensioned paintings find their center. A bit of Matisse, a touch of Klee.

"I have always been interested in the abstract. I never title my pieces with a specific name because the figures in my pieces are simply icons, believable, but not what I’m seeing. I work from an idea of what I think is really there."
