Come join the Sail, Power, Steam Museum on June 8th @8:00pm for a silent auction. The museum strives to enrich the public through hands-on, interactive, educational programs related to marine history.
Now that we are closed for the season, I can start my painting projects again. Love this clothesline from the summer and thought that would be fun to paint. Check back often as I will have time to blog now and watch for my Saturday’s Muse paintings to be up for sale!
Where did the season go? We are here Wed- Sat from 10-5pm. Call for appointment or by chance the other days. We still have Kimber, Carol Sebold and Teresa McCue in the gallery. We will begin our fall sale in the shop on October 1st! I will upload new images when my broken camera is fixed or a new one! Enjoy the sunshine and the trees slowly turning fire reds and smashing pumpkin oranges.
Carrots begin to spring forth, then they multiply…..Carrot cake for all and look at the size of that cabbage….how big are the rabbits? View all pictures….
Scott and I just finished a fun project for the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Mr. McGregor’s Garden is a cement sculpture done by artist Jeanne Wheaton and the woman we bought the business from some years ago. It was donated to the garden by the late Mary Louise Cowan and we restored it’s color to bring out the best in it. If you haven’t visited the gardens we highly recommend you do! mainegardens.org
Welcome to our 2011 Season! Scott and I have begun the big task of repainting our building. All 3800 Square feet!
So I gave Scott the top and largest part and I began with the simple flower box, much closer to the ground. Stay tune as we start to count the gallons of Lightning Bug Yellow!
